MONIKA M. EMARA is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Tinton Falls, New Jersey office and is a member of the Construction, Fidelity & Surety Practice Group.

Ms. Emara is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in construction contract matters. She has practiced law for more than 18 years at both large and mid-sized firms in New Jersey and New York.

Her practice encompasses federal and state litigation, including construction defect disputes, and she brings practical industry insight from her work with a multi-state construction and restoration business, where she was involved in residential, HOA, and multi-unit construction projects. She has a strong background in legal research and writing, motion practice, and resolving contractual and operational issues arising in complex construction matters.

Ms. Emara earned her B.A. from Rutgers University and her J.D. from Albany Law School. While in law school, she completed a year-long judicial internship with the Albany County Supreme Court, serving in a role comparable to that of a judicial law clerk. In that capacity, she conducted legal research, drafted memoranda, assisted with motion practice, and supported the Court in managing a broad range of civil matters.

Ms. Emara is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the State of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
