Aram B. Movaseghi

ARAM B. MOVASEGHI is Of Counsel with the Firm’s Fidelity, Construction, and Surety Group and he concentrates his practice in the areas of construction litigation, surety and fidelity litigation, and bankruptcy law. He represents his clients in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration, mediation and other ADR proceedings. Aram’s representative clients include public and private owners, general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, and individuals in a variety of matters.

Mr. Movaseghi's surety experience includes performance bond defaults, contractor transactions, bankruptcies, payment bond claims, liens, and wage and hour claims, among other matters. In his construction practice, Aram assists construction clients with lien, contract, defective work, wage and hour, and bid protests, among other matters. In addition, Aram handles landlord-tenant matters, handling eviction matters in the state of New York.

Mr. Movaseghi is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Aram has represented clients in a number of states pro hac vice.

Mr. Movaseghi graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 2016. He received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Movaseghi served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Douglas E. Arpert U.S.M.J. (Ret.), District of New Jersey.
