Zachary Q. De Leon

ZACHARY Q. DE LEON is Of Counsel with the Firm’s Construction, Fidelity, and Surety Practice Group and concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation, construction law, and surety law.
Mr. De Leon’s surety experience includes performance bond defaults, bad faith claims, payment bond claims, liens, union benefits claims, and wage and hour claims. He has substantial experience assisting contract and commercial sureties with a variety of matters and products.
Mr. De Leon’s construction experience includes the representation owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and sureties in all phases of litigation. He also has substantial experience assisting construction clients with liens, contracts, defective work, prevailing wage, warranty, labor and fraud-related claims.
In addition, Mr. De Leon has experience handling insurance, bankruptcy and complex contract claims, matters and disputes. He represents insurers in connection with primary, excess and umbrella coverage determination and litigations. He assists corporate clients in connection with matters related to bankruptcies and creditors’ rights. Mr. De Leon’s experience also includes handling various aspects of breach of contract, tortious interference, negligence, and other tort claims.
Mr. De Leon is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Mr. De Leon is a 2020 graduate of Washington & Lee University School of Law. Prior to joining the Firm, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. H. Matthew Curry, J.S.C., Warren County, Criminal Division.
